Side slots permit venting of any out gassing. The working end of the tool provides a positive capture around the entire base, eliminating the chance of a dropped or broken meter as well as offering additional mechanical leverage when removing stubborn meters. Molded of a rugged polymer the tool is rugged, lightweight and tinted to allow the operator to visually observe the entire operation.
